Welcome to Kindergarten!

We are happy to welcome your family to the Triton District Kindergarten Program.

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts sets expectations, or standards, for what every student will know and be able to do in school. This guide is designed to help you understand those standards and partner with teachers to support your child’s learning during kindergarten. Triton Regional School District’s kindergarten curriculum reflects the learning standards outlined in the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. The district’s skilled teachers address these standards through a variety of learning activities. If you have questions about this information or your child needs extra help, please talk to your child’s teacher.

Through active communication and effective partnerships with families, the kindergarten program supports the development and achievement of all students. Your child’s teacher looks forward to working with you in partnership regarding your child’s growth and progress in school.

Please note that students must be 5 years old by Sept. 1st to enroll in Kindergarten.
